Welcome to Ask a Teacher, the ultimate online destination for Ontario high school homework help. Polynomials a pain? Chemistry confusing? Spend some time on Ask a Teacher—it's easy, fun and free!

Here's what you'll find:

  • Knowledge Ontario: Registered users of Ask a Teacher have access to a vast array of articles, databases, videos and more. Knowledge Ontario is a collaboration of libraries, cultural heritage organizations and educational institutions.
  • Chalk Talk: Real-time tutorials on tricky high school math and science topics. Join fellow students in your classroom-in-a-computer and listen while a teacher presents problems and solutions in a challenging, interactive environment. You can ask questions, take a quiz, or just listen and follow along. Chalk Talk tutorials are presented on selected evenings, 6:30 to 8:30.
  • Essay Feedback Tool: A tool that gives you a knowledgeable second opinion about your work. A qualified teacher will review your essay and offer constructive comments, so you can build on your strengths and work on any weaknesses.
  • Brain Bank: Exercises and lessons on English grammar, physics, business, and dozens of other topics, so you can practise what you're learning in school. The Question Finder gives math and science special treatment. And be sure to check out the amazing Super Glossary.
  • Chat Rooms: Certified teachers ready and waiting to guide you through your homework problems in math, science, English and research in real time, one-on-one. It's like having your own private tutor! The Chat Rooms are open Sunday to Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. During the summer break, we're open 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Join now so you'll be "good to go" for the next session.
