Welcome to Ask a Teacher's Chat Rooms, where you can chat with an online tutor and get live homework help in math, science, English, or research!

The Chat Rooms are free to Ontario students and are open every Sunday to Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. except during holidays. During the summer, hours are reduced.

Chat Room Updates
Chat Rooms are now dedicated to math, science, English and research homework problems. These are the subjects most students ask about.

• Each of your Chat sessions is automatically saved in your Locker so you can play them back whenever you want!
• space to enter grade and course to help zero in on your question
• a typing indicator so you'll know when it's your turn
• a large whiteboard for drawing and writing
• links to other helpful Ask a Teacher features such as the scientific calculator
• a timer that estimates how long you might have to wait in line, and when the Chat Rooms will be closing
• a survey so you can tell us about your experience – we really want to know.
