To properly view the Independent Learning Centre's website, please ensure that your system is set up to take full advantage of all that we offer, including the Ask A Teacher Chat Rooms and CareerMATTERS Assessment Quiz.  The following browser features are required throughout the website.

1. Javascript must be enabled to make use of many of the features on the website. In the Security or Advanced section of your browser's Preferences or Internet Options, please make sure Scripting (Active scripting or Javascript) is allowed.

   Testing Javascript: Javascript is not enabled.

2. Cookies must be enabled to login to the website. Certain areas of the site cannot be accessed without being logged in and will not function without cookies enabled.  In the Privacy and/or Security Section of your Browser Preferences or Internet Options, please make sure Cookies are allowed.

   Testing Cookies: Without javascript enabled, cookies cannot be tested.

3. Flash Player 6 is required; Flash Player 7 is recommended*.  Much of our content is Flash-based and cannot be accessed without having the plugin installed.  To download the Flash Player plugin, please visit www.macromedia.com.

   *Note: Flash Player 7 is required for Ask A Teacher Chat.

   Testing Flash Player: Without javascript enabled, the flash player cannot be tested.

   If the Sine-Wave flash object appears animated, your browser currrently has the Flash Player installed.
