Non-Residents of Ontario

Who Can Enrol

Non-residents of Ontario under the age of 18 may enrol if they are:

• students from other provinces or territories of Canada
• students on study visas attending post-secondary programs in Canada
• individuals with work permits
• residents of other countries

Fees

Non-resident students must pay the full administration fee as required by the Ontario Education Act. The fees are:

• $500 for a full-credit course
• $250 for a half-credit course

These are non-refundable fees that cover the loan of course and supplementary materials, evaluation by certified teachers, and a final test.

How To Enrol

To enrol in a secondary school credit course, non-resident students must be at least 13 years of age and not attending a day school.

1. Check the ILC High School courses list and choose the course you want.
   • Non-resident students residing in Ontario/Canada may only request one course at a time.
   • Non-resident students residing outside Canada may request up to four courses at a time.
2. Download the Registration Package for Non-Residents and complete the enclosed registration form (PDF, 704 KB).
3. Students must provide the most recent original secondary school transcript from their current school or the last school attended.
4. Payment of the full fee by credit card, or by certified cheque or money order payable in Canadian dollars, must be included with the application form.
