Non-Residents of Ontario
Who Can Enrol
Non-residents of Ontario under the age of 18 may enrol if they are:
- students from other provinces or territories of Canada
- students on study visas attending post-secondary programs in Canada
- individuals with work permits
- residents of other countries
Fees
Non-resident students must pay the full administration fee as required by the Ontario Education Act. The fees are:
- $500 for a full-credit course
- $250 for a half-credit course
These are non-refundable fees that cover the loan of course and supplementary materials, evaluation by certified teachers, and a final test.
How To Enrol
To enrol in a secondary school credit course, non-resident students must be at least 13 years of age and not attending a day school.
- Check the ILC High School courses list and choose the course you want.
- Non-resident students residing in Ontario/Canada may only request one course at a time.
- Non-resident students residing outside Canada may request up to four courses at a time.
- Download the Registration Package for Non-Residents and complete the enclosed registration form (PDF, 704 KB).
- Students must provide the most recent original secondary school transcript from their current school or the last school attended.
- Payment of the full fee by credit card, or by certified cheque or money order payable in Canadian dollars, must be included with the application form.
