What information does the Independent Learning Centre (ILC) collect and why?
ILC Student Information
The information you provide when you register for the first time for your ILC course is used to provide you with access to the areas of the site, which apply directly to your course. For information regarding the collection of personal information, please consult the relevant ILC course application form.
High School Students and Guests
TVO and the Independent Learning Centre (ILC) want this site to be a valuable and safe online destination for students. When you register on the different parts of the ILC site you may be asked to provide some personal information including your name, age, city, school and email address. This information is collected so we know who is using the site. It also allows us to present you with information relevant to your grade. You can still remain anonymous while you're navigating the site.
Only the Independent Learning Centre (ILC) will use the information you share, for the purposes outlined above. We will not disclose, sell or rent your personal information to other companies or people.
