Course Overview
Ce cours te permet d’utiliser les processus de création et d’analyse critique en arts visuels pour réaliser et présenter ton travail d’atelier ainsi que pour aider à l’organisation d’expositions. En étudiant plusieurs œuvres en histoire de l’art – notamment des œuvres de la Préhistoire, des civilisations de Mésopotamie et d’Égypte ancienne, et du XXe siècle au Canada et particulièrement en Ontario français – tu acquiers des connaissances et développe ton sens d’appartenance à la francophonie. Les aspects, les modes d’expression, les matériaux ou les techniques auxquels tu es exposé ou exposée te permettent de te familiariser avec les habiletés nécessaires pour personnaliser ton travail en arts visuels. Le cours t’amène aussi à respecter le monde des arts visuels en te fournissant l’occasion de t’impliquer dans les enjeux du milieu des arts visuels et de travailler avec application, aussi bien seul ou seule qu’en équipe.
